its working well with latitude after 2 hours of operation. ill comment on longer term reliability and effects on battery life in a few days.

update 1: at hourly intervals, there is no noticeable effect on battery life. updates occur more frequently than hourly, probably due to handoffs. everything is still working after 24h.
